Message for parents of children in St. Margaret's School - this is a very long shot, but I'm posting a message here out of desperation! My daughter took a toy cuddly dog to school on Tuesday (her "doggy) she's not usually allowed to take it but was going to a friend's house after school and wanted to take it - and promised she'd leave it in her bag whilst at school ...... unfortunately she didn't do that, and by the sound of it took it out to the field at lunchtime. Well - you've probably guessed that she's lost it! It's a very special "doggy" as it was given to her when she was born and she's slept with it every night and taken it everywhere with her since she was about 15 weeks old. I should have stuck to my "no school" rule but thought she may listen when I said don't take it out, you'll lose it!! We've searched the classrooms in early years and the outside play area, plus walked the whole field this afternoon, nothing has been handed in to the office either (we went there three times today to ask!) and now school is closed for 11 days :-( just wondered whether anyone may have seen it there, if anyone's child has come home with it (a very cuddled doggy!) or if anyone's child may remember seeing it anywhere? As I said I know this is a very long shot, but I have to ask, we'll be so sad if we never see him again. He's about 12" high, brown with a beige tummy and nose, has floppy ears and a big nose, and has been cuddled to the point there is no longer any filling in his neck, he is very much loved and missed by my daughter and we'd love to have him back. Thanks for taking the time to read this
