Can anyone tell me if the St. Christophers children home is still in operation in Angmering? I worked there in 1989/90 and would love to hear from anyone who also worked there during this time..... Anyone know Angus, Rose, David, Jeff, Julie?????

Garth,

St Christophers was turned into a number of housing units a few years back. (Probably more than I realise).

Regards

Jammer,

It was behind the big flint wall in Station Road just to the Rustington side of Rustington Hall. Opposite Rushden Park. Its garden used to open on the playing feild of Georgian Gardens School.

Hi there..... i have been caught up with the olympics and forgot to check in...... Canada has been doing very well and today we play the USA for the gold medal in hockey. I am getting together with all my mates to watch.. it should be a good game. Anyways, no I did not have a motorbike when i was at St. C, but I do remember the other Canadian bloke that did.... I can't remember his name, but I only worked with him a short time before he went back to Canada to get married. It is cool to find some links to the past.... the internet is great BTW do you still live in the area?

After leaving st christophers i moved back home to sussex and i havent been to angmering since leaving. tho always thought about taking a trip there.

Yeah I remember Mark and that he had a motorcycle..... when i worked at St C's I lived at the university of Sussex. I looked at google maps and could see exactly where i lived and even the pub i used to have a pint or two in. I also used to work in Lewis and hung out a lot in Brighton.... I wonder what Brighton is like now? Glad the olympics are over now and things are back to normal in Vancouver....

BTW what do you do for work? for fun?
