Even more worrying is the amount of people unable to lock their cars it seems!

surely it is more shocking that some devious scumbag is making a hobby of cruising round the neighbourhood in the early hours stealing from those of us who work to pay for our tools and sat navs

it is easy to forget to lock up a car, especially if it's on your own driveway onn a close with no passing traffic, i am sure a lot of people do this, but they really should make a point of not doing so if some horrible serlfish toad is out trying car doors at night...

A friend of mine in Littlehampton had his car stolen the other night (Beige E reg Bluebird) and has since seen a group of "East Eurpeans" (his words not mine) going round in a skoda octavia checking for unlocked cars and peering through car windows. Could be the same group over our way?? Has been reported to the police as well

As the average thief can get into almost any car with a screwdriver I prefer to leave mine open so the thief can see there is no sat nav inside rather than spend £500-£1000 replacing all the locks and keys on the car for an item (satnav)the thief would get £30 for!
