This was sadly a fire at ragbags a work ware clothing recycling facility. The fire started within a container of recently received clothing and quickly spread to an ajoining car workshop causing extensive damage.
4 fire engines were in attendance and their brave efoorts brought the fire under control very quickly with no injuries.
Please spare a thought for the people affected and the potential loss of livelyhoods, especially within the current gloomy economic climate.
I hope they can all restore their buisnesses back to former levels

Thank you Doug for that update.
Most importantly, no one was injured. I was concerned when I saw the ambulance going there after the fire engines, so that at least is good news.

This is a time when other local business's will hopefully rally round if needed to help the affected ones recover as quickly as possible.

I have no idea what we can do to help at this time, but would be more than happy to help with anything we can if possible.
Please keep us posted.
