Was anyone lucky enough to see the mother Duck and her brood of well over a dozen babies walking across the Arundel Road yesterday?

What an amazing sight. She seemed to know exactly where she was going and took her time crossing the road to enable her chicks to keep up with her.

So wish I had had a camera at the time.

It caused quite a long tail back of traffic as well!

Did anyone see where she actually took them all to?

Be interesting to see if this happens again - it was just before 3pm.

we passed her just before 1pm at the top of weavers hill so she certainly must've known where she was going, very determined... well she is the female of the species ;o)

How funny. Someone saw her this morning at the top of the twitten off Landsdowne Road.

Looks like she has been round almost the whole village.

1pm Weavers Hill
3pm Rectory Lane/ Arundel Road

Those poor little chicks must have been exhausted!

Seems like we need to set up a 'duck watch'

Well Skippy she seems to have been all over the place causing total chaos during the afternoon school run -definately the female of the species.

I will let someone else (braver) make the obvious joke!
