On the afternoon of Wednesday 25th the village schools celebrate May day in the traditional way.
This year its St Wilfrids turn to host.

There is a procession from St Wilfrids to St Margarets and back where the May King and Queen, Prince and Princess are crowned followed by may dances by all the children from both schools.

All are welcome.

Paul, well done for letting people know.
Can I suggest you duplicate this post onto the 'Whats on in the village page' because at the moment it looks like this village does nothing, or very little, which could not be further from the truth.
