It is good to see APC taking the initiative and having an open day to explore and explain the issues involved to residents who are interested.
The Localism Bill currently going through Parliament will make many philisophical and practical changes to the relationship between Central Government and Local Government, particularly at District Council level, and there will be issues and involvement at Town and Parish Council level. (Parish Council level for us in Angmering.)
In particular for APC will be the issue of Neighbourhood planning, hence a Community-led Plan.

I would like to personally thank everyone who visited the Open Day today for taking the time to do so. Some very interesting points were raised and gave myself, and I'm sure others, some food for thought. Again, Thank You.
