The heading of this post refers to the human owners, not the animals. Specifically the charming owner of the dog who did it's business on the grass of Bramley Green on Tuesday evening. Made an exaggerated pretence of looking in pockets for a bag to put it in and then walked straight past the dog waste bin without stopping! Didn't take it home with them, in case you were wondering, as it was still there today (Wednesday.) I don't believe they had just forgotten the bags either, it was too obviously play acted! |

Just moving to Angmering, it is nice to see that the majority of people do pick up their dogs business, but I noticed the other night that there are one or two who don't (on Fletchers Field, where there are two poo bins!!) |

There are people who come down our road with their dogs and do bag up the "doggie dirts" and then leave them on the verge as a gift for the residents. Having bagged up the "poo" why can't they take it back home with them? |

Most people have mobiles with them. Lets take a few pictures of the offenders, that'll soon have them clearing up :o)

If only, GreenFields! But we would probably be infringing their human rights or some such baloney! I was hoping the perpetrators might read this and perhaps behave more socially in future. I live in hope! |

You can take any photo you like if you're standing in a public place, you aren't infringing anything.
On a more positive note - I've seen an older lady in East Preston on a mobility scooter with a little dog trotting beside her, and she stops to pick up any mess it makes. That's a responsible dog owner. |

Do Police Community Support Officers or Local Wardens have any powers eat all regarding offences like this? I've seen Traffic Wardens dish out out tickets for no tax disc etc. in Rustington. Some Local Authorities have laws for dog fouling. |

I did once offer a doggy bag to a chap,He was not pleased to say the least.Sadly you will never shame these dog owners, but on the bright side most dog owners do deal with their pets . |
