Hi. There has been a large marketing drive recently for houses on Bramley Green to increase their home insulation, especially with cavity wall insulation. Just enquiring if anyone who has had cavity wall insulation installed has any feedback to give, as we are considering it. Did the company do a good job? Thanks.
My Neighbour has had it done and said he noticed a difference straight away .They did clear up after themselves and I noticed that they have been working through all this cold weather! we may have it done .
We had the walls done last year, and have noticed a terrific difference. The front of the house faces north, and the rooms are much warmer than they were. The hoouse retains the heat, and the thermostat kicks in less often. We are monitoring the bills. However, we can really feel the difference with the wall insulation. We had it done through our energy supplier. The grants may have run out this year. The house is about 16 years old, and probably had thermalite bricks, but there was a cavity. We have no condensation problems either, not that we had them before!
