1. Bus Services

1.1 Stagecoach Bus
The following Stagecoach Bus service operates through Angmering village (except Public Holidays):

Service No. 9

(From Angmering To Rustington shops and Littlehampton shops):

(Note: No. 9 Timetables valid from 1 January 2012. The full Service No. 9 timetable can been obtained by consulting the Stagecoach Bus website at www.stagecoachbus.com. Copies may also be available at Angmering Library).

(From Angmering To Goring, Worthing seafront, Worthing Hospital, Lancing, Shoreham, Southlands Hospital, Holmbush Shopping Centre, Southwick Square, Portslade Station):

Service No. 700
Brighton - Worthing - Goring - Ferring - East Preston - Rustington - Littlehampton - Bognor - Chichester - Portsmouth - Southsea

This is a slow bus service from Brighton to Southsea. It only serves Angmering in the extreme south-east of the parish with bus stops in Old Worthing Road, south-east of the Roundstone PH but could be more useful for residents living in the Roundstone/Downs Way area or Bramley Green. If required, other residents of Angmering might find it more convenient to use the bus stop in Worthing Road, East Preston, about 150 metres south of Angmering Station. The timetable for this Stagecoach service can been obtained by clicking here. Services run approx. every 15 minutes on Mondays to Saturdays, and once an hour on Sundays and Public Holidays.

1.2 Compass Bus

Service No. 84 (Monday to Saturday except Public Holidays)
Worthing - Broadwater - Clapham - Patching - Angmering - Arundel - Walberton - Westergate - Oving - Chichester

There is also an early morning No. 84 service Monday to Friday (on school days only) that leaves Angmering at 06.49am arriving at Arundel at 7.01am, St Richard's Hospital, Chichester at 7.30am and Bishop Luffa School at 7.38am. Whilst this early bus is primarily for school children, it is available to any passengers who wish to use it although it does not serve West Street, Chichester

2. Train Services

Disclaimer

The principal train services to London, East Croydon, Gatwick Airport, Brighton, Portsmouth and Southampton are operated by Southern Railway from Angmering Station at the southern end of the parish (approx 20 minutes walk from the village centre). Taxi services operate from the station yard (see below). To view Angmering Station's live departure board, click here. You will be able to determine from this whether Angmering trains are on time, running late, or cancelled.
