The southerly section of the eastern half of the churchyard extension opened in 1867.
Note: There are a number of missing gravestones, compared with the 1969 churchyard plan, on the west side of this area which have been demolished and only meadow remains. To the east considerable tree, weeds, and undergrowth have hidden stones that do exist.
