APC QUESTION & ANSWER RULES
1. The “Angmering Parish Council Forum” is intended for an individual registered member of Angmering Forums to ask Angmering Parish Council (APC) a question about its functions or actions, or make a request for consideration by APC. The Forum is not to be used for comments by members about APC, its councillors, or officers.
2. The Forum is moderated by nominated members of APC who may delete any posting that does not comply with these rules and Angmering Forums’ rules.
3. Each question by a member should be a new topic and given an appropriate title relevant to the question. APC will endeavour to respond to a question within 3 working days and, after responding, will “lock” the topic. Other members may not post additional questions/comments in that same topic. The question may be locked by APC after the question has been asked - APC will then unlock the topic to make their response before locking it again.
4. If a member is not satisfied with the response from APC or requires further clarification, he/she may make one other posting on the subject. This should take the form of a new topic but with the same title as the original question. Thereafter, the member may not post any further topics on that particular issue. If further information is required, the member should directly contact APC’s office in The Square. Other members may not start new topics on the same issue although may ask a question on a related issue.
5. APC reserves the right to amend the title of a topic to ensure that readers can clearly identify a matter.
6. Any question considered by the moderators to contain abuse of APC, its councillors, or officers, will be deleted.
