Since the damaged equipment at russet playground has not been made safe not adequately fenced off, it is likely that insurance is not currently valid. Bad enough that the risk of injury is not being dealt with appropriately, should a child be injured there while equipment is in disrepair this presumably will mean that apc will be liable in the event of an accident. Why has this issue not been dealt with quickly and made safe. It is a risk to children and risks apc being sued if someone gets hurt.

The current situation is that the Parish Council continue to put up tape and notices to not play on the equipment. Almost every evening someone removes these warnings etc. It is not practical to completely seal off all access to this site but it is monitored on a very regular basis by Council staff. The Parish insurance is all in order covering this situation. For any further details please communicate with the parish office as it may be you can assist by also reporting any overnight actions that may have happened.
