The new volunteer scheme took off last Saturday, where newly trained volunteers took on the running of the library for the afternoon.
It was a huge success and we look forward to continuing to open on Saturday afternoons for a long time.
This is stage one of our overall plan to increase the opening hours of our library to ensure it does not close.
Please help where ever you can. We need lots of people to come along on Saturday afternoons to take out books or bring books back and keep the library buzzing.

We would also welcome more volunteers. The training is easy and fun and done in 2 four hour sessions. Once we have gained enough experience on the Saturday afternoon, we are hoping to progress to increasing the hours during weekdays, so please, if you feel you can help at all, ring or email the Parish Council office and let them know. Every call is important and we will get back to you with the details quickly.
Thank you and look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on Saturdays.

We really do need more volunteers to come forward so we can keep this project going.
Please consider this even if you can only spare one afternoon every 2 months...............every one person can make a huge difference.

We will be ready to start the next wave of training very soon, so please join us.
Email the PC office on: admin@angmering-pc.gov.uk or myself on:
angmeringpat@aol.com
and we will get straight back to you.
Thank you
