In preparation for bringing the weather cams back, I have had to take the weather station off-line, while I move it to the new server. Normal service should be resumed in a day or two..............
Good news - Weather Station and all the pages are back on-line and updating again. A few hickup's along the way but all sorted now....now gearing up for an enhanced return of the weather cams. Watch this space......
The pressure is falling quickly and might fall to a level lower than that of the storm on 4 November. The worst of the weather is not due in Angmering until late tonight and the early hours of tomorrow morning. You can monitor the fall in pressure at our weather station at: www.rogers-davis.com/philip/weather/angvillage/angweathertemp.htm#pressure
No, the weather is not deadly hot - it's just that the temperature sensing probe on the AVL weather station has failed leaving a temperature reading of 70 degC. This is an expensive bit of kit. All other weather reading equipment is functioning normally.
Work still in progress to restore weather cameras.
