could the apc please advise what they are doing do remedy the issue of the parked cars on the hill in the high street.
that people are allowed to park there is ridiculous, it causes accidents, there is such poor visibility for people coming down that sometimes you can only see if someone is coming up on the wrong side once you're part way down yourself.
i recall this already being an issue a long time ago at apc meetings, yet nothing has changed, so an update would be good, and some action even better.

West Sussex County Council have in the past declined to prevent LEGAL parking outside Angmering Villas. Highways staff believe that LEGALLY parked cars actually prevent speeding and there have been no recorded accidents in recent times.

Additionally, there is also been the matter of the loss of the legal spaces which will simply add to parking problems elsewhere.

The Parish Council Highways Committee has put forward a Village Traffic Calming review request to West Sussex Highways and we await their input for mutual discussion and proper consideration, which will include consulting affected residents.
