One of the main traffic problems in Angmering is the poor egress to the south at rush hour times, particularly access through the Old Texaco Roundabout.

The ""Keep Clear"" Markings that should have reminded drivers to allow access through the roundabout from Station Road southbound have been eroded and not replaced.

Would it not be better to have this section of the roundabout ""Hatched"" and signed "Do not enter unless exit is clear""??

Is it APC problem???

My guess is that its a WSCC problem. Having looked on the WSCC site I quite easily found the following form:
http://www.westsussex.gov.uk/leisure/getting_around_west_sussex/roads_and_pathways/report_a_problem-1/highway_form.aspx

Maybe you could fill it in and let us know what response you get?

Thanks Roosterbi for being the first to put a question to us.

Repainting the hatching around the roundabout is WSCC’s responsibility, as are all matters relating to the maintenance of adopted highways in the county.
They have it on their "to-do list" but have not yet scheduled a date for the work to be done.
The Parish Council has raised this matter with WSCC.
