I wonder whether anyone has noticed the new history project that commenced in the AVL History pages about a week ago (see main History Index).
Richard Standing, an excellent local historian, has been working to create a Virtual History, which means as far as this website is concerned, that threads of Angmering history can be accessed through hyperlinks in the Index of this virtual book. I am assisting him and creating the web pages.
Actually, some pages have existed on this site for many years while others cover brand new material. The Index for the virtual book can be found at:

It's in its early stages and the Index will need tidying up at some stage but you can see what is trying to be achieved. It may take months (or even years) to get it anywhere near approaching completion.
Any feedback would be appreciated before we commit ourselves too far. |
