I'm currently researching Angmering's servicemen during WW1. This is a project which is part of the 100th anniversary commemorations of the start of the Great War in 1914. I'm not sure at this stage how and where this information will be available, but it will definitely be uploaded to the Angmering Village Life History Centre.

In addition to the 40 names on the War Memorial, I am aware of another 110 (approx.) men from Angmering who served in the forces. I would like to include photos of as many as possible of the war dead and survivors.

There must still be quite a number of families in Angmering who are related to those 150 people, and I would be pleased to receive copies of photos of them and include the photo in the final document. Please either ring me on 01903-771935 or email me at info@angmeringvillage.co.uk
