I would just to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who came to the christmas night and to everyone who helped to ensure it was a successful night.
The atmosphere was one of the best yet and so many people have commented on how it felt like a real village event.
We were so lucky with the weather as well.
The Santa grotto was queued all night and Santa has promised that next year he will get his helpers to ensure all the little ones get to see him.
Our thanks to the Parish Council who covered the costs of the road closure and who ran the Tombola in their office.
The total profit at the end of the day was £520.
Half of this was donated to the Youth Forum bus and the other half goes back into starting the funding for next year.
As a huge bonus for the Bus Group, we donated the sum of £260, through the match system advertised on this site's newspage, so the donation was doubled to £520.
A great night for so many of us and thank you again, whether you helped on the evening or just came and enjoyed, without any of you it could not have been so successful
