does any1 know anything about this blackout iv been told it went up2 sainsburys? how long were people out 4? we live near bmw n was out an hour.

The Dell was out from about 20:15 to 21:00. I could see lights over the Roundstone to the east, and perhaps Sainsbury's to the west.

Be careful what you ask for - you just might get it.

Parish Council office - about 1 hour.

Very cosy. T Lights and carried on working - so dedicated.

Cant help noticing that Neil posted a warning about candles today - did he know something in advance I wonder??

Got home from the Angmering Society's meeting shortly before 9.00pm. Just as I had lit two candles, the power came back on just in time for the second half of the England v Sweden game! Lit the candles immediately under a smoke alarm - guess the result . Oh well, won't have to test it again this week!!!

I couldn't see my hand in front of my face, felt my way along the walls 2 the kitchen thinkin' I could light a gas ring or 2 for enough light 2 find some candles and a flame 2 light them with. LOL.

Gas hob has an electric starter! Needs 2 bring the light-sensitive garden lights indoors. LOL xxx

North Drive - was about 45 mins, My son thought it was the most exciting thing .. EVER. I felt very old telling him that these blackouts occured frequently when I was growing up!
