The Dell has been experiencing sewerage problems recently and this is the subject of a separate topic. As explained in that topic, the water utilities will be taking on responsibilities for private sewers from 1 October and this will be a comfort for owner of properties on The Dell.

However, it will have an impact on many other properties in Angmering and readers may be interested in a film on the subject which Southern Water has released today. The film can be seen at:

Thanks for the link Neil. Sadly the film and the animation contradict each other if you have a detached property. The animation says the pipework is the homeoner's (end), but the film says it will be the sewer company's if the pipework is shared. I prefer the film version - guess which applies to me.

Be careful what you ask for - you just might get it.
