Just how does one get an appointment exactly? I need a prescription treatment for a minor problem - was told this morning I can see the nurse about it, but that appointments with her can't be pre-booked & that I should call at 2pm to ask for appointment this afternoon. Called dead on the dot of 2pm, only to be told that she is fully booked. How can this be possible if appointments can't be pre-booked?!? Have now been told to call at 8am tomorrow - even if I can get through at that time, what are the chances of any slots being free? Think I might book an appointment with a doctor instead - didn't want to waste their time with something minor, but what alternative do I have? Bloody fuming, to put it mildly!!
